Brazil:

Tapajós aims to ensure the realization of studies of impact of the construction of the plant, for the Federal Public Ministry, there is a risk of conflict.

“The environmental licensing for the power plant planned for the Tapajós is suspended for Justice because not complied with the legal requirements of consultation with Indians.

Even so, the Government sent Federal Police Dilma Rousseff and the army to an armed operation in the region. The Federal Prosecutor is warning that this operation in the Tapajós has the potential of  “irreparable harm” (http://bit.ly/XEYW1c), because this is the region where the Federal Police recently murdered a Munduruku Indian.

Among those carried by the Federal Government and even in the mainstream media, silence. Meanwhile, the genocide is continuing and will be implementing the clear threats made by the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Gilberto Carvalho, to the Indians (http://glo.bo/YetmKs).

Have reflected a lot during these days about the great irony of history, that a dictatorship ex-torturada implement the project of geopolitical Golbery do Couto e Silva to Amazon. On the day 15/04 at 3:0 pm, at the University of Wisconsin, palestro and perspectivism on decided to reserve a time to talk of crimes of genocide against the Indians Dilma’s Government.

Now it will be like this: in any lecture, on any topic–whatever Machado de Assis or Grave–I’ll reserve 15 minutes to talk about the ongoing genocide in Brazil. ” (Idelber Avelar Guarani Kaiowá)
