The presidential palace confirmed the emptying of Funai assignments/Marta Azevedo
The Panel of the Folha de Sao Paulo reports today that President Dilma Rousseff decided to change the whole dome of the Funai starting with President Marta Azevedo. According to the newspaper, rousseff took the decision after the rain of boos that took the farmers in Mato Grosso do Sul. Producers complain that the Agency encouraged the invasion of farms by Indians in areas where they lived before the start of the studies.
Marta Azevedo is the former wife of Paulo Maldos, who is Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic and was a consultant for the Ccme, as well as having built the NGO Instituto Socioambiental, richly financed by international foundations under Maldos work. Marta Azevedo, Paulo Maldos and Gilberto Carvalho are the hard core of indigeneity radical (anti-farming) inside the Presidential Palace.
Will be the second Exchange in Funai under Rousseff. Marta Azevedo replaced Marcio Meira in 2012.
