MS-Dilma authorizes the purchase of Buriti farm

The President Dilma Rousseff has authorized the purchase of the farm Buriti, located in Sidrolândia as a way to find a way out of the impasse created after the confrontation between Indians and farmers, since last month, according to the Campo grande news newspaper. The property belongs to former Ricardo Bacha and was occupied by terena Indians on May 15.
The area gained national prominence after the confrontation between Indians and the Federal Police, during fulfillment of repossession action, ended with the death of the Indian Oziel Gabriel, 35 years, on May 30.
The Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, Gilberto Carvalho, received the authorization of President Dilma to the Buriti farm is purchased and the stalemate resolved.
A federal government delegation returned to Mato Grosso do Sul on Thursday (20), formed by the head of the AGU (Solicitor-General), Luiz Inácio Adam, the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Márcia Pelegrini and national Secretary for Social Articulation, Paulo Maldos. Indigenous leaders, representatives of farmers, of the Acrissul (Association of Breeders of Mato Grosso do Sul) and Aprosoja (Association of soy and Corn Producers), and some mayors of cities of Mato Grosso do Sul, participate in the meeting, in Campo Grande.
