Operation Forest Alive will achieve conservation units

By the end of the afternoon of Tuesday, 14, representatives from State and federal agencies gathered in the situation room to treat the fight against illegal deforestation and burning, to evaluate the work of the task force last week and plan the activities of the next few days.

In addition to the critical areas, which in the last 15 days were reached by forest alive, the protected areas have also been audited by Environmental police battalion (BPA) and the Institute of Environment of Acre (Imac).
The first was the Glebe Arez, Cazumbá/Iracema, in Sena Madureira. The Chief of the reserve, which is under the management of the Chico Mendes Institute for biodiversity (ICMBio), James Prophet, explains that the main concern is in relation to illicit near reserve prices.

In the next few days, the teams must act on extractive reserve (Resex) Chico Mendes Xapuri, Brasiléia, passing by, Epitaciolândia and Assis Brazil. The Chief Executive of the Imac underscores the need of expertise in conservation areas.
