Indigenous Dance In the Camera~
After about 3 hours of occupation, the nearly 200 leaders and representatives of indigenous, quilombolas, fishermen and artisanal fishers and extractive communities decided to end the occupation of the Auditorium Nereu Ramos, in annex II of the House of representatives, after obtaining the President’s box, Rodrigo Maia (DEM), an undertaking that will be received tomorrow (10) in the morning for a meeting.
During the time that the occupation, indigenous, quilombolas and other traditional communities conducted rituals with songs and prayers (video). People had decided to occupy the Auditorium at the end of the hearing held by the Commission on human rights and minorities (CDHM) in honor of the international day of indigenous peoples, signed on this day August 9. In the midst of so many attacks against their constitutional rights–a large part of which come from the National Congress–people and communities require the Mayor to listen to your claims and your position about projects that concern them.
